Terminal 5 at O'Hare International Airport Grand Opening April 4, 2014 with 18 Restaurants, Retail Boutiques
Terminal 5 at Chicago O'Hare International Airport is nearing the end of its 18-month, $26-million revamp -- described as a world-class facility with a world-class experience, especially for international visitors. Terminal 5 is re-modeled by Westfield, a major retail shopping center developer headquartered in Australia. Terminal 5 will include 18 new restaurants and retail boutiques (four high-end retail boutiques) -- including a large duty free shop, just inside the security checkpoint. Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises is opening five new restaurants, including an airport-themed R.J. Grunts, and a new restaurant to be known as the Urban Olive.
